Context

i3 Simulations recognized a critical issue preventing the widespread adoption of their VR medical training programs. Healthcare institutions struggled to fully leverage the technology due to a fragmented infrastructure. Institutions faced significant logistical challenges in managing content access, monitoring trainee performance, and scaling programs efficiently across multiple departments or sites. This created a high barrier to entry and limited the impact of VR training at scale.

Challenges

Disparate management and analytics tools created high administrative overhead

  • Accreditation Users: The credit calculation logic lacked transparency, resulting in friction on the path to certification.

  • Organization Administrators: Lacked a unified control panel for managing user licenses, content libraries, and retrieving real-time analytics, making assessment and reporting laborious.

  • i3 Simulations Staff: Course creation was slow and manually intensive

Goal

Design a centralized hub to manage content, accounts, licenses, certification, communication and analytic etc

  1. Clear User Journeys: Design intuitive interfaces for each user level

  2. Scalable Administration: Implement a scalable system for management of training programs
